Part 1 of Some of My Favorites of Christmas
This is my absolute favorite Christmas carol. If you have the patience to listen to all 4:41 minutes, you'll be pleasantly surprised about halfway through when it becomes the Vienna Boys Choir singing their beautiful carol. Of course, that is, if you like choirs and such. I can never hear enough of this song! This song made an impact on me when I was in high school and joined the A Capella choir. That was an invitation only choir, no tryouts, no saying "I want to join"...you joined Glee and if you were good enough (sad, but true) you'd get an invite for A Capella. From there, we could try out for Madrigals...although anyone in the school could try out for Madrigals - Glee, A Capella, or otherwise. Anywho, the Madrigals sang this song each year for the Christmas concert and once I joined, learned it, and got it in my head, there was no looking back. It's been my favorite ever since!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Lori!
ReplyDeleteYayay. The unflavored isopure was finally a success. Potato soup and a mixer. No flavor of protein at all. So glad. Have a lovely Sunday!
