BYOC

1. What is your favorite genre of movies? (comedy/romance/horror/action)

Romance and especially romantic comedies and then comedies.  I also love dramas and movies based in another era, like 1800's or early 1900's.  I used to really love blow-'em-up-beat-'em-up movies as well as horror movies but I can't deal with them now.  Being startled or scared causes problems for me nowadays.  I have to be in a particularly great mood and be feeling very secure and comfortable to watch said movies and those days where it all comes together like that are just rare.

2. What do you order when you eat Chinese food?

Changes all the time.  Some faves are....mu shu pork, chow fun, mein fun, general Tso's chicken, kung-pao chicken, dumplings, wonton soup, egg rolls, crab rangoon (techinically not really Chinese food, I know), orange-peel beef, beef with broccoli...want more?

Chinese food is one of my all-time faves.  That and Vietnamese and Japanese and Thai and...basically...Asian...

3. Okay no one kill me for this one - and don't answer if you don't want to BUT I just saw some preview for Dr. Phil on swingers and I wondered - what's your take on swingers.....for it, against it, do it, would never do it, etc.?

Whatever.  You do your thing and I'll do mine.  I will never judge anyone for their interests and preferences even if it's not for me.  But swinging...not for me...unless it's swinging from a doorjam....

4. Let's go back to a repeat question. Pick one thing you'll do one next week that is for your physical/mental health.

hmmm....

So I'm already drinking enough water...

And I'm lifting weights 4 nights a week...

And I'm swimming 2 days a week (or more)...

And I'm eating all my veggies and fruits and generally getting "enough" protein...

So...next week...I'ma read.

One night next week (at least), I'll crawl into bed and pick up a book or magazine instead of turning on the tv.  It may not be a self-help book, got plenty of those on the shelves to read and I need plenty of help, but it will be a book and me and my imagination.  And I'll turn on some music that makes me all calm and peaceful and crap.  :)

5. Repeat question. Which blog or comment stuck with you the most this week and why?

My Draz.  She's been tested this week big time and she is beating this test into submission in rapid order.  She is such an inspiration!

And Carmen's post about her mom.  What a role model she had (has)!  Carmen's strength is impressive!

And Pie's comment to me to get an app for my phone.  That app is making me realize things I always thought I knew but didn't really.
