Just for good measure, meet my puppies!
This is Tibby. He's my baby. He is about 7 1/2 years old and we've shared some great times together. He loves my husband as much as I do - and the feelings are mutual. He loves to cuddle with me and swim with me - and he also loves to play although not like Raider. He acts like he's happiest when he knows he's making me happy - but he can also be quite stubborn when it comes to doing what he wants to do. He is a very family oriented dog and loves to be where the people are. And he loves children - actually seems to want them to pull on his hair and ears. Surprisingly, he rarely sheds (only twice a year when the light changes) and it's over within a week. He also stays clean quite easily as dirt won't stick to his fur. So when he plays in the mud, once he's dry, he's white as a snowball all over again. He is an American Eskimo.
This is Raider. She's my hubby's baby. She is about 8 1/2 years old and she and my husband have shared many great memories together. She has taken me in as her person just like she took my hubby in and I love her as much as she loves me. She loves loves loves to play - with fetch being the best - although she wants to catch the ball, not chase after it. Last summer I had to teach her how to swim after we had our pool put in and now she makes sure any visiting kids stay away from the pool unless we are there with them. Her modus operandi is to do what we want her to, so she is happiest when she knows we are thinking good thoughts about her. She does shed all the time and unlike Tibby's fur, her fur sticks to everything and is hard to get up. She is an Italian Greyhound/Labrador mix.Have a good day y'all!
(I actually tested this out and posted this from my iphone. How awesome is that!)
