Seven things about me.
1. There is a huge part of me that wants to quit my job and go back to school to become a physical therapist. But I could not live without my salary for three years...so this dream is likely to never come true.
2. I'm scared that my hubby and I won't be able to get pregnant.
3. Now, instead of obsessing about weightloss and my journey, I'm obsessing about baby-making and fertility. (The baby-making part isn't such a bad thing, though, believe me!)
4. I get very very mad when I have to talk to "customer service" reps and they imply I'm a horrible customer.
5. I used to swim a 30 second 50m short-course (free). My coach, as a kid, told me if I really worked I could go somewhere with my swimming. That, sadly, was enough for me...
6. I took Geometry one year at the beginning of high school. I hated the class and the teacher so I never went back until the day of the final...took it...without having been in class for a day...and passed with a "B".
7. My mom thought I was a good kid. (See #6 above to understand the irony in this statement.)
I am passing this award on to all the bloggers I read. Everyone I follow has inspired me and keeps me going! All of the support I receive from this community is tremendous and the friendships that are being cultivated is amazing. I love everyone who takes the time to read me...and who lets me get a glimpse into their own personal journies.

Funny about the Geometry. I hated that class in HS. You are so welcome! The baby will come, I know it will.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award. Geometry wasn't fun, but I really hated Trig. Gives me hives just thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm always afraid that when I get married I won't be able to get pregnant either. I wonder if that is a fear all of us have...And if you think skipping Geometry makes you a bad kid..ha! You were a GEM compared to me. :P But we turned out okay, didn't we? That's all that matters to our moms. You're a great friend and I appreciate all of your wonderful comments on my blog, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIf skipping geom was all I had done...
ReplyDeleteBut it was just the start. I fixed it, though...t'was why I knew I needed something like the Navy.
Bonnie, I got lucky and somehow managed to convince people I didn't need trig. I went straight from alg 2 to calc and went straight through to a minor in math. Diff eq, linear algebra...got it. But never did take trig....
now you have two..Your the woman! I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award.
